For the new all-electric age of FIA World Rallycross Championship This year, a newly formed team was put together during the off-season, which will start for this season.
The new team called Construction Equipment Dealer Team announced a multi-year commitment to the new RX1E class and will have driven an entry with two cars. The team is operated by PWR RX, which is a new sister company of the successful PWR racing team from Sweden.
The PWR Racing Team is a multiple Swedish touring car champion and the first team in the world to call an all-electric touring car PWR001.
The CE dealer team is led by Emil Axelsonwho, as a former team manager, is a familiar face in the rallycross paddock EKS RX and previously a co-driver in rallying. Where he has claimed co-driver titles FIA Junior World Rally Championship, Super2000 World Rally Championship (now WRC2) and the FIA Asia Pacific Rally Championship.

As the Volvo construction machinery have recently joined forces with World RX, the team’s activities are also supported by a number of Volvo’s independent dealers including rise, SMD and Swecon.
The team’s driver roster for this season will be announced on 10th of May.
