Cook Motorsports is preparing for a new year

SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Wa. – After two eventful nights at Merced Speedway, California, which ended its season in November, Washington-based Cook Motorsports continues to prepare for a busy season next year.

“We all at Cook Motorsports are looking forward to the coming season,” said team owner Blake Cook. “We look forward to starting our season in California in March and then partaking in a busy season that will see us mostly running in Washington, but we are in the process of raising additional funds to enable us to run.” even more so in California. “

With the Christmas season approaching, Cook Motorsports has been busy building new cars and shipping engines for refreshment in the team’s shop. Sometimes the team will field two cars at Skagit Speedway in Washington when the track opens with new owners next year.

The team will line up with Californian youngster Jayson Bright, who raced with the team at the last event of the season at Merced Speedway, and Trevor Cook, Blake’s son. At the time of going to press, the team was still finalizing the schedules for both cars.

With 410 racing in the Pacific Northwest recharging well into next year, Cook Motorsports also hopes to attract enough sponsors to get a 410ci engine to attend some marquee events in Washington and California by the end of the season.

“We have a lot of exciting things to do and hope to have a more precise schedule and additional plans out after the Christmas and New Years holidays,” said Cook. “We hope to gain further marketing partners for the coming season.
