YVC women fall to Chemeketa

BELLINGHAM – The poor shooting night in the Yakima Valley proved costly with a 67-39 loss to Chemeketa on the final day of the NWAC crossover at Bellingham.

The yaks shot under 30% out of the field and only Courtney Standley, a La Salle graduate, hit double digits for YVC, scoring 10 points to go with a team high of seven rebounds. Yakima Valley (0-9) will take a break before heading back to the streets to face Bellevue in the first round of the Lower Columbia College Holiday Classic on December 27th in Longview.
