Multi-million dollar LED project for Sydney Motorsport Park

Eastern Creek Circuit has partnered with technology company PMY for the $ 4 million program as part of a 10-year investment partnership.

This latest project follows the installation of the $ 16 million lighting system last year.

“Our offering will now compete with the best in the world as we are the only Australian circuit with permanent lighting and can offer unique and engaging event opportunities 24/7.”

PMY Managing Director Paul Yeomans added, “PMY is delighted to be working with ARDC to deliver what we expect to be pioneering at SMSP and in the world of motorsport.

“Our world-class technology solution focuses on enhancing the race day experience through powerful engagement concepts, dynamic brand, content and sponsor integrations, and the latest event-centric operational information. We can’t wait to see them in action. “

The LED screens are scheduled to be operational in time for the Sydney SuperNight Supercars event, August 20-22.

“SMSP is a world-class motorsport facility and this new technology offering will replenish the fan experience at the Sydney SuperNight event for our local fans as well as the millions of viewers around the world who watch the event each year Raise level, ”added Supercars CEO Sean Seamer.

Motorsport Australia announced in 2019 that it would build a “Center of Excellence” with SMP, which will also be linked to the Ferrari Driver Academy.

However, this project was slowed down by the global health crisis.
