Racingfuel Motorsport takes part in EuroNASCAR with two Chevrolet Camaros

A new team is starting the 2022 season of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series: Racingfuel Motorsport will make its debut in the official European NASCAR series with two Chevrolet Camaros. A newcomer to NASCAR, the Swiss racing organization has over 20 years of racing experience to rely on when their V8 engines are fired for the first time.

Racingfuel Motorsport will field the #93 and #94 Camaros full-time in EuroNASCAR PRO and EuroNASCAR 2. The driver line-up will be announced shortly.

Team owner Ferruccio Finkbohner is looking forward to the first race of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series and the atmosphere of the series’ American themed festivals across Europe. “There are no road races in Switzerland, but there are many motorsport enthusiasts,” he said. “By entering EuroNASCAR, we have found the perfect way to give passionate Swiss racing drivers access to an internationally renowned racing series.”

Finkbohner underlined that EuroNASCAR offers the best value for money of all touring car series in Europe, making it the perfect home for new talent as well as experienced drivers from all over the world. “It is the ideal opportunity for young, aspiring or experienced drivers to compete at the highest level in international racing with a relatively small investment.”

Racingfuel BIZ is an all-rounder in motorsport: In addition to numerous racing products such as fluids, radio communication systems and electrical components, the team offers services for all types of motorsport activities such as driver or team management, offering seats or technical support. With two cars in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, the organization will take the next step in its growth and development in Switzerland. Owner Finkbohner is a racing driver himself and has a lot of experience behind the wheel.

The 2022 NWES season begins on April 9th and 10th at the legendary Hockenheimring in Germany. The series will then make guest appearances in Valencia (Spain), Brands Hatch (Great Britain), Most (Czech Republic (Republic), Zolder (Belgium) and Grobnik (Croatia). Two other events – the All Star Race in Vallelunga (Italy) and a race on ice – rounds off an exciting 2022 season. All races will be broadcast live on EuroNASCAR’s social media platforms and on Motorsport.tv.
