Rameau Family Motorsports today announced a full list of scheduled events for the team for the 2022 season. The schedule starts in April and runs through the end of October, with the team visiting at least nine different tracks in multiple states in the New England region to take part in Modified Action.

The season will include a full-time schedule with the Tri Track Open Modified Series, which will host seven races in 2022. It will also include the debut of a new car for Rameau Family Motorsports as part of the new Whitcomb 5 Series – a five-race series for Crate Modifieds in New Hampshire – with races on four different tracks – that will bring the team back to the weekly base environment. The team will also compete in a few Open Modified races during the season, while driver Sam Rameau will compete in select NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour events, to name a team to be announced.

“I’m excited to have a busy schedule for the 2022 season,” said Sam Rameau. “I think running the Whitcomb 5 Series Crate Modified races will be fun for the whole team, especially at events on tracks where we used to be successful. We look forward to competing for the championship there as well as with the Tri Track Series. “

The tri-track season begins on Saturday, April 30th, in Monadnock – as part of a two-day double-header for the team. Rameau will seek three wins in the last four tri-track events in the High Banked Oval on Saturday, then move to the Crate Modified entry for the first race of the Whitcomb 5 Series on Sunday May 1st will compete on the return of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour to Lee USA Speedway on May 21st, followed by the minimum of $ 15,000 to win the Open Modified Event at Claremont Motorsports Park on May 27th.

Rameau and the team will next compete in the Tri Track Open Modified Series at the Thunder Road Speedbowl in Vermont on Sunday, May 29th.

From there, June includes another Whitcomb 5 Series event at Claremont Motorsports Park and a NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event in Monadnock, as well as the annual Tri Track $ 10,000 to win Open Wheel Wednesday at Seekonk Speedway on June 29th.

In July, another Whitcomb 5 Series event will be held at Lee USA Speedway on July 15, followed by the 11th annual Tri Track SBM event at Star Speedway on July 23. On Friday July 29th, Rameau will perform the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Return to Claremont Motorsports Park.

August includes only two events – the Tri Track Special at New London-Waterford Speedbowl on August 14th and the Whitcomb 5 Series event at Hudson Speedway on Sunday August 14th. From September 16-17, Rameau and the rest of the Crate Modified riders will compete in Monadnock for the Whitcomb 5 Series Championship.

The Tri Track Open Modified Series returns to Stafford Speedway on September 24th, while the team plans to compete in the Sunoco World Series of Speedway Racing on October 9th at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park in the Thompson 300. The season ends at Seekonk Speedway with the annual Haunted Hundred with Tri Track run.

“With some of the higher budgets and levels of competition in the events we have selected for the 2022 season, it will not be easy to keep up with the front,” continued Rameau. “But our team works really hard in the shop to make sure the cars are prepared and I couldn’t be more grateful for their efforts.”

Sam Rameau will continue his education in the New Year at the Wentworth Institute of Technology, where he recently made the Dean’s List again.
