A new festival playlist series is about to land Forza Horizon 5 features four weeks of new challenges, points to earn, and cars to unlock.

The main theme this time is Cinco de Mayo, a Mexican celebration on May 5th that commemorates the Battle of Puebla in which the North American country defeated the French Empire.

There are also five new Ferrari cars to be unlocked either through the festival playlist starting on Thursday 28th April 2022. Here’s your rundown of what will be included.

FORZA HORIZON 5, SERIES 7, SERIES REWARDS

The 986 hp Ferrari SF90 Stradale Plug-in Hybrid leads the way in this series with 80 points, a brand new car for both Forza Horizon 5 and the game series as a whole.

This is backed up by 160 points for the Ferrari 599 GTO, which is not available through the auto show.

FORZA HORIZON 5, SERIES 7, SUMMER

FORZA HORIZON 5, SERIES 6, SUMMER. NET SEASON REWARDS

As always, summer comes first, the western season. You can purchase an “Epic” ’71 Ford Mustang for just 40 points, but the real star is the “Legendary” Ferrari 250 GT for 20 points, which is our second Ferrari addition to Forza Horizon 5. That was in Forza Horizon 4, but this is the first time it has happened.

Not to be confused with the 250 GTO which is a barn find.

FORZA HORIZON 5, SERIES 7, SUMMER, Challenges 01

The MK1 Volkswagen Golf GTI will be used in the chapter-focused #FORZATHON Weekly Challenge for 80 FORZATHON points. If you’ve saved some of that, the Subaru Impreza 22B is available in the FORZATHON store for 800 FP.

FORZA HORIZON 5, SERIES 7, SUMMER, Challenges 02

Elsewhere, you’ll get a Puebla driver’s suit for completing the Aid Of The Party challenge, an ‘epic’ Lamborghini LM 002 for the Event Lab test, and there will be both a photo challenge and a treasure hunt – we like those at Traxion .GG!

FORZA HORIZON 5, SERIES 7, SUMMER, Challenges 03

FORZA HORIZON 5, SERIES 7, FALL

FORZA HORIZON 5, SERIES 7, SUMMER FORZA HORIZON 5, SERIES 7, FALL

Seasonal rewards for the second week of the festival playlist include the wild ‘epic’ Jaguar XKR-S ’15 for 40 points, but the main star is the Ferrari California T for 20 points. Prancing Horse is another Ferrari novelty in Forza Horizon 5.

It was in Forza Horizon 4, but this is the first time for this newer open-world racer.

The weekly #FORZATHON challenge features the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor, completing which earns 80 #FORZATHON points, which can be used to claim the Toyota Trueno for 700 FP.

Elsewhere, the HOONIGAN RS200 Ford could be yours for completing the Rallying Around Mexico challenge, the MINI X-RAID to play the Event Lab task, and several themed clothing items.

The photo challenge involves the use of a Renault 4 and the reward is a Cinco de Mayo appropriate dress.

FORZA HORIZON 5, SERIES 7, WINTER

Another week, another new Ferrari. It’s like we’re in Maranello, just not.

The 512TR is a derivative of the Testarossa, refined for the ’90s but still retaining its esoteric flat-12 engine. It can be yours for 20 points and is again a new car Forza Horizon 5.

Next to it sits the mismatched MG3, which returns for 40 points after making its debut in Series 4.

The #FORZATHON Weekly Challenge uses the Mexican-built BUHL 05RR sports car.

The #FORZATHON store contains the Lamborghini Aventador spin-off Veneno for 700 FP and this time there are two Event Lab challenges.

Besides the Super Wheelspins, the “Legendary” Hennessey VelociRaptor, “Epic” Alumi Craft C.10, completing challenges could be yours.

The second Treasure Hunt appears this time together with a new photo challenge. 100 FP and a To The Moon Forza Link Reward could be yours for completing these tasks.

FORZA HORIZON 5, SERIES 7, SPRING

In the last week of Series 7 – spring, hot season – our fifth Ferrari is on the list for this month. Last but not least is the turbocharged V8, F8 Tributo ’20. The Last Non-Hybridized Mid-Engine Ferrari? We will see…

Try it for only 20 points. He is next to the “legendary” Mercedes-Benz 300SL for 40 points.

The #FORZATHON Weekly Challenge is themed for 80 FP on the dune buggy.

Matching this, the Meyes Manx Buggy is also available this week for 700 FP in the #FORZATHON shop.

The ‘Legendary’ Bentley 8 Liter could be yours if you complete this season’s test, while the Dutch ‘Epic’ Donkervoort GTO could be yours if you complete the Event Lab challenge.

Elsewhere, you can win the usual Super Wheelspins and a special Series 7 Sombrero.

The ‘Epic’ Toyota 2000GT will be yours when you complete the Season Championship, and there’s a new photo challenge for a ‘Sleep’ emote reward.
